"Fun and to the point" - a review by pearly

Bowl Me Over is a cute short comedy about a Greek widow who becomes bored of her life, and decides to convince her friends (also widows) to join a bowls club.

In a humourous way, it explores the differences between the traditional culture of the Greek ladies (who must wear black) and the laid-back lives of the Australians ("bring a plate").

Well acted, it's a fun watch the whole way through.

pearly gives this movie 6 out of 10.

  1. A movie that is weakened by clichés. The character Flora looks uncomfortable in her performance. The film looks nice and contains some good fluff fun moments. All in all, Bowl Me Over is easy to watch but easily forgettable.
