"Does 'assimilate' rhyme with 'educate'?" - a review by pearly

Shh... is the animated story of what is behind a baby's cries. From the large open mouth of a screaming baby, we travel into that baby's thoughts, to see why the baby is crying, and how we can get the baby to "shh".

The set-up is simple, but effective. A word appears on the screen (with accompanying graphics), and this is why the baby is crying. Then a hand swipes across and replaces the initial word with a new (similar-sounding) word (and graphic) that should make the baby a little happier.

One thing that disturbed me (being the perfectionist that I am) was that some of the words were incorrectly spelt. Now, this may have been on purpose, but I couldn't tell. Overall, an interesting idea, but perhaps more thought could have been put into the rhyming couplets that formed the basis for the whole thing - as some were a bit tenuous.

pearly gives this movie 6 out of 10.
