"It's tricky to rock around, to rock around, it's tricky!" - a review by timchumaJoon Koo is the Tricky Master hired by people to fool others. He demonstrates his skills on one of his customers using a trick door and a trap toilet, leaving the customer in the middle of a shopping mall with everyone laughing at him. It is then we find out that the real customer was the wife of the one who is on the toilet.
The story then moves to an office where the staff play elaborate tricks on each other all the time. This is where we meet the other main characters in the story who will be involved with Joon Koo later.
It does get a bit less complicated but more silly after this, as we find out that Joon Koo is meant to be fooling a man to keep him away from the boss' daughter and fiancee, but it is too confusing to explain.
A very silly film starring Stephen Chow with loads of slapstick humour and 'tricks'. My favourite scene was the fight between the "Tricky Masters" with the two announcing the gag tools they were using on each other.
Some people may see the film as a bit pointless, but it is really just meant to be a fun film where you are not meant to question much about it. |
